The trucks are comprised as follows:
road train trucks with a crane that can be extended 2–8 m,
tilt trailer trucks with a crane that can be extended 2–16 m,
trucks without crane, used for trimmed timber and round timber transportation.
TRANSPORTED GOODS
We specialize in transporting round timber. This includes:
side grain, solid volume, pulpwood, groundwood, biomass, branch bundles.
Here are the definitions:
SIDE GRAIN
is round timber with a length of 8 to 16 m.
It is used in the wood industry, timber trade, by sawmills and planing mills.
SOLID VOLUME
is round timber with a length of 2 to 8 m.
It is used in the wood industry, timber trade, by sawmills and planing mills.
PULPWOOD
refers to round timber with a length of 2 to 5 m that, due to its dimensions or quality, cannot be used as trimmed timber. It is instead used to produce pulp based on a chemical process and is thus mainly purchased by paper mills.
GROUNDWOOD
is fresh, healthy, wood with few branches and a length of 2 to 4 m; it is a product of thinning harvests that is used in paper production by means of mechanically grinding the fibers. Its quality is superior to pulpwood.
TRIMMED TIMBER
Trimmed timber is produced by sawing round timber.
Mechanical strength grading of wood is generally applied to timber mainly used in construction or designated for processing into solid timber products (glued-laminated timber, plywood).
